New Jersey Band Kites And Lightning Announces Debut Single, Summer / Fall Show Dates, Launches Site

BRICK, N.J. - July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Brick,NJ (7-24-2013) – Rockin’ Entertainment is thrilled to announce the release of the debut single from Kites And Lightning, Live Again, available at CDBaby.com, iTunes and Amazon.com on 8/1/2013.  Many other outlets and sync licensing will also be available globally beginning on the release date.

Debut Single;

Live Againis the first, fiery release from the powerful New Jersey hard rock group.  The single, popular with fans, was voted for release by the Kites And Lightning fan base on Facebook in early July 2013.  Recorded in both locally and with Tim Gilles at Big Blue Meenie (Jersey City, NJ) along with the rest of their soon to be released full length album, the track is a powerful yet melodic song about the torment of someone who’s been in very broken relationship and is searching for a new start in life.  “Live Again is a huge sounding rock song from a great new band…”  Lenny, Long Branch, NJ

Show Dates:

So far this summer the boys have been very busy.  In early July, Kites And Lightning showcased at The Brighton Bar (Long Branch, NJ), The Encore Event Center (Freehold, NJ), and Paul’s Tavern (Belmar, NJ), all of which helped earn them an expanded fan base and credibility.

In response to their early summer shows, two very exciting dates have been added to the band calendar for the upcoming months.  Friday August 9, 2013 Kites And Lightning will be appearing in Long Branch, NJ at The Brighton Bar with Stardog Champion (members of Breaking Benjamin) and on Thursday September 5, 2013 the band will be returning to The Brighton Bar where they will be appearing with Sponge.  Tickets are expected to be released soon.  Keep watching the website or Facebook (see below) for availability.

Website and Online:

In late spring, Kites And Lightning officially released their band website, www.kitesandlightning.com.  The site, which continually communicates with the band’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/kitesandlightning, has all band information, news, calendar dates and a link to purchase online tickets to events upon release (www.rockinent.com).  The site will continue to evolve and currently the band is building a fan base page that will allow fans to sign up and become part of the club.  New fans that sign up will have access to various special releases, ticket specials and promotional items that either aren’t available outside the club or before they become available on the street.  Details will be released via Facebook and other media outlets as the site is updated.

The Near Future:

In the coming weeks, Rockin’ Entertainment is expected to release several new PR’s regarding Kites And Lightning.  While details are still in the planning stages, Kites And Lightning is beginning work on an upcoming video set to be entered in New Jersey Sound Off.  NJSO is a contest in which contestants enter videos that are voted on by fans and is a remembrance of Super Storm Sandy.  In other news, final stages of their full length album are being worked on for a release date expected this fall.
