Michael-Ann Russell JCC Offers Mini Camps with Maximum Fun!

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- 2012 was a record-breaking year for the MAR-JCC with summer camp attendance at its highest. As the regular summer camp season cools down into its final session, the momentum continues to soar at the Center, with many fun options for kids to continue their summer vacations up until the beginning of the new school year.

There are a variety of Mini-Camps to choose from, including:

Aquatics: Ages 3-13, children learn basic swimming skills while improving existing skills

Field Trip: Grades K-5, kids enjoy local field trips to places such as Funderdome, Planet Air, Laser Quest, and more.

Tennis Mini-Camp: Grades K-5, kids learn drills, strength training, strategy, stroke analysis, match Play. Cool off each day in the JCC pool.

The J’s Cultural Arts Theatre: Grades 1-5, practice your skills in the art and craft of theatre. When not “on stage” enjoy camp oriented activities such as swimming and outdoor play.

Robotics: Grades K-5, design, build, and program real-life models, & learn about renewable energy sources.Features NEW special Lego Robots.

All Star Basketball: Ages 8-17, learn from the Pros including Mario Chalmers, Tim Hardaway, and more! Lessons will range from shooting & passing to dribbling and more. Includes contests, games and tournaments. Presented in conjunction with ALL-STAR Basketball Camp with Kenny Anderson (Offered from August 12-15 only)

Hours:  9 am – 4 pm

Optional Extended Care: 8-9 am & 4-6 pm
