NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. - July 26, 2013 - PRLog -- 04/15/2013—Newport Beach, CA—Success CE is pleased to announce that the state of Louisiana has reapproved the revised and newly streamlined NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions and Model Regulation, to satisfy its annuity training requirement (effective 8/15/2012). Louisiana producers completing this course will also be awarded 4 hours of insurance continuing education credit.

The Louisiana annuity training rules require that producers licensed to sell annuities before 8/15/2012 must complete a one-time annuity training course approved for 4 hours by 1/1/2013 in order to continue selling annuities. Producers licensed on or after 8/15/2012 must complete this requirement before selling annuities. Louisiana will accept the completion of annuity training in a state with substantially similar annuity training requirements. This training requirement applies to both resident and non-resident producers.
