Nutriinfo.com hosts fun and motivating Wellness Conference

With this wellness event, Nutriinfo.com presented trends and tactics to help companies create healthy, thriving workforces. Attendees left the conference motivated and wide awake to the importance of effective prevention strategies and wellness initiatives in their workplaces and communities.

Bridget Hurd and Michael Samuelson both shared their experiences and knowledge of ways to improve health and engagement in the community and workplace. Hurd, from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, described the various initiatives BCBSM has in place to encourage healthy, active lifestyles for residents. Samuelson, a health educator for over 40 years, shared his observations, reflections, and predictions about the future of the wellness industry. His personal stories and adventures were a true inspiration to all who were in attendance. At the conference, Nutriinfo.com also encouraged attendees to network with other health experts and audience participation during its fun, yet informative game of Jeopardy!

With increasing obesity rates, and Michigan standing as the 5^th most obese state in the U.S., it’s important for Michigan companies to implement effective wellness strategies within their workforce.
