Horseback L.A. Presents Western Horseback Trail Rides at Historic Tejon Ranch

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - July 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Horse Services Inc. has an exclusive license to offer horseback rides on the Historic Tejon Ranch during a limited engagement from August 1 through August 12, 2013. This is the first time horseback rides have been available to the public at Tejon Ranch. Western style trail rides, on authentic ranch horses provided by Horse Services Inc., are offered for individuals, groups and families. Children can enjoy the supervised “kiddie corral” while the rest of the family hits the trail on horseback with a guide to enjoy the majestic and serene setting of this 170-year-old working ranch.

Guided by professional cowboys and wranglers, four different trail ride packages are available. Morning, Afternoon and Evening Packages include a ranch-style meal with the cowboys and a two-hour ride. The All-day Package features breakfast with the cowboys, a two-hour ride leading to a private hill top picnic lunch and a two-hour ride back to the stable on a different path with refreshments awaiting you upon your return. A brief “get acquainted” lesson with your horse, in the corral, is an included option for each rider. With a minimum of two riders, you can add horseback riding hours to your package for $55.00 per hour, per rider.

Riders must be at least 6 years of age. Children not riding the trail can experience the “kiddie corral” for an additional fee not included in the package prices. All rides are supervised. There is an additional fee for riders weighing over 200 pounds.
