PORTSMOUTH, N.H. - July 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Portsmouth, NH – New Hampshire website developers will host a two-day event on cutting-edge web development technology. The conference, called DrupalCamp New Hampshire, will be held on Saturday September 21st at Great Bay Community College at Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, followed by a code sprint on Sunday, September 22nd.

The event, which will be organized by the New Hampshire Drupal User Group, is the second such conference in the Granite State. Beginner to advanced web developers can learn more about Drupal, the free open-source content management system used by the White House, NBC Universal, Turner Broadcasting, and many more companies. Sessions will start at 8:00 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m. with a variety of different topics, including Drupal 8, the upcoming major release of the project. Following the sessions, there will be an informal networking event at Grill 28 on Saturday night. On Sunday, the group will be hosting its first-ever code sprint at Grill 28. Similar to the camp, the code sprint is open to all levels of web developers who will volunteer for the day by contributing to Drupal.

Attendees of the camp are encouraged to bring their family members and friends to the area for the day. New Hampshire’s Seacoast has beaches, museums, shopping, whale-watch tours, and much more. Family and friends are welcome to attend Saturday night’s event, which will include a build-your-own ice cream bar.

The New Hampshire Drupal User Group meets monthly in Manchester, Portsmouth, Keene, and in the Upper Valley. Please visit https://groups.drupal.org/new-hampshire for more information on meetings.
