artsNK unveil new InspireDance programme for Lincolnshire School

SLEAFORD, U.K. - July 24, 2013 - PRLog -- From September, children and young people across Lincolnshire will be offered more opportunities to try dance.  

InspireDance is a support package designed to provide schools across Lincolnshire with the skills and resources required to enhance their dance offer. It’s been produced by artsNK’s Dance Development Team, CfBT Education Services and Dance4.

The flexible programme aims to meet the needs and requirements of each individual school, offering a bespoke range of options. Examples of services offered to schools through InspireDance include weekly specialist dance tuition for pupils and a dance training course for teachers called ‘On with the Dance!’

The development of this new programme is perfectly timed with the recent announcement that the Government will be providing Sports Premium funding of £150 million per annum over the next two academic years to improve the provision of physical education and sport in primary schools.  Schools can use Sports Premium funding to get the InspireDance support package.  

Swinderby All Saints CofE Primary School and Caythorpe Primary School have already signed up to InspireDance, with several more interested.
