During the reception, butler-passed hors d’oeuvres will include Grilled Octopus with Bone Marrow Toast Point, Seared Foie Gras with Autumn Vegetables and a Black Truffle-Veal Reduction, Geoduck Clam with Osetra Caviar and Fresh Wasabi-Lemon Gelee as well as a Braised Pork Empanada with an Avocado Mousse and Poblano-Sherry Sauce. Wine paired with these hors d’oeuvres is a Rack & Riddle Sparkling Rose.
Pan Seared Scallops with White Truffle Whipped Potatoes, Bacon and a Champagne Vinaigrette served for the first course will be paired with a Miner, Chardonnay, Napa Valle, CA, 2010. For a sweet ending, a housemade Chocolate Banana Coulant with a Coconut Caramel Wafer, Bananas Brulee and Coconut Banana Ice Cream will be served with coffee and tea. There is something to satisfy every appetite and guests will not be disappointed with the menu prepared by Chef Barron.
