For Lynda, to be given the chance to step up into the role of sales manager, was an incredible opportunity.
She has almost 30 years experience working in executive assistant roles, first in Brisbane and then later in Cairns at the Pacific International under executive directors Paul and Mark Kamsler.
“Having worked as the executive assistant, I was required from time to time to step into roles when people were away ill or on annual leave.
“I said to Mark Kamsler that if the sales manager position ever came available I would love to be considered.”
Describing her role as incredibly “diverse”, there is nothing more rewarding for Lynda than meeting new and existing clients for anything from weddings, Christmas functions, private parties to larger conferences and making sure everything they expected of the Pacific International was met and exceeded.
“Not only do I have the opportunity to showcase state of the art conference facilities, I also get to work alongside a very experienced and highly professional banquet team and catering division, who all contribute to the success of the Pacific International in their own way,” Lynda added.
