NEW YORK - July 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Sterling silver coffee service in Pyramid pattern. Made by Georg Jensen, ca. 1945. This service comprises 1 coffeepot with cover, 1 sugar with cover, and 1 creamer.

Coffeepot has tapering cylinder with diagonal spout, stepped rim, and scroll handle (partly ebonized wood). Cover is flat and raised with ball finial.

Sugar: truncated cone with everted rim and foot ring. Cover is flat with ball finial.

Creamer: truncated cone with small lip spout, scroll handle, and foot ring.

A geometric and cerebral design by Harald Nielsen. The “Georg Jensen & Wendel” hallmark was used on pieces sold in Copenhagen. Postwar Jensen for the home market. Attractive wear to wood. Very good condition.
