By: Jona Verhardy Productions Bible Storyland, the 220 acre theme park planned for Rancho Cucamonga in the early 1960’s, was conceived by Nat Winecoff, a former V.P. of W.E.D., the group responsible for planning and building Disneyland. Other principles of the project were Jack Haley, the screen and stage actor who starred in “The Wizard of Oz”, and Donald Duncan Sr., inventor and entrepreneur, who manufactured and popularized the Yo-Yo in America. “Bible Storyland” Contact for Bible Storyland: Harvey Jordan (818) 802-0378, Info@BibleStorylandMovie.com, Stephanie Hubbard (323) 202-5645 Film's web site: www.BibleStorylandMovie.com (The film is now available on iTunes) Media Contact for the exhibition : Press@aplusd.org 323.932.9393, Erin@designagencyco.com 323.522.639, Meara@nelsondaly.com 323.804.0288 A+D Architecture & Design Museum 6032 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles, CA 90036 “NEVER BUILT: LOS ANGELES” July 28 –October 13, 2013, OPENING RECEPTION: July 27, 2013, 7:00-9:00PM Reviews of Bible Storyland, the movie: “‘ “‘ About A+D Architecture and Design Museum, Los Angeles (www.aplusd.org) The A+D Museum is the only museum in Southern California focused exclusively on progressive architecture, design, and urbanism.
