Meridian Group International acquires Synergy Systems GmbH in Munich to expand data center

DEERFIELD, Ill. - July 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Concat AG, a Meridian Group International company, announced the acquisition of Synergy Systems GmbH in Munich, Germany. Meridian Group International (MGI) provides technology and financial solutions and services. Concat, one of Germany’s top system integrators, specializes in highly available IT and cloud solutions with fast adaptation to market conditions. “This acquisition extends Concat’s portfolio to include strategically important hosting and data center capabilities to meet the growing need for managed services,” explained Dexter McGinnis and Olaf von Heyer, executive directors of Concat.

Synergy Systems, founded in 2003, is an IT services company providing value-added data center services. “Synergy Systems gives Concat and all the companies of MGI leading-edge offerings in the managed services and cloud hosting space,” added McGinnis. Concat also gained additional expertise in firewall management and security, infrastructure design and implementation, and 24-hour help desk services.

Stefan Tübinger, founder of Synergy Systems, will continue managing the business, supporting Concat’s customer base and accommodating the needs of MGI’s growing global clients.
