Civilian Job Fair for Veterans Set for Nashville on August 22

The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for veterans and others with military backgrounds, at LP Field in Nashville, home of the Tennessee Titans, on August 22, 2013.

PRLog - Jul. 21, 2013 - NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Cincinnati, OH – The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for veterans and other men and women with military backgrounds, at LP Field in Nashville, home of the Tennessee Titans, on Thursday, August 22, 2013. HCA HealthCare will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.  

RecruitMilitary expects more than 30 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are HCA HealthCare, UBS Financial Services, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling, State Farm, DeVry University, The Home Depot, Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, Strategic Systems Programs, MCM Management, Troy University, First Command Financial Planning, AMVETS, C.R. England Inc., American Income Life Insurance Company, Georgia College of Construction, and Heavy Construction Academy.

The awards are a result of a year-long annual survey conducted by Weddle’s to recognize “the elite of the online employment industry.” The judges are recruiters and job seekers who have used the sites.
