Magnetic Consulting Competes in 1st Annual "Battle of the Bay" Flag Football Tournament

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - July 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Magnetic Consulting Group alongside multiple other businesses from the bay area, hosted a 6x6 coed flag football tournament on Sunday July 14th benifiting international charity Operation Smile.

The tournament was held at Kemp Park in Folsom, CA. Two fields were used during the double elimination style tournament. There was a total of 8 teams in attendance, and around 80 people total.

The San Jose team won 1st place, with the Sacramento teams coming in 2nd and 3rd. First place was awarded with individual medals, a team trophy, bragging rights until next year as "Bay Champions" and a $600 gift card to Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.

"In total we were able to raise over $1,600 in a single day for Operation Smile," states Eric Dvorak, Manager of Magnetic Consulting Group, "it was great to see so much support from everyone. We look forward to the many tournaments to come and hope each year we can top the previous. Although, we need to be sure and win so we can keep the trophy here in Sacramento!"

Magnetic Consulting has pledged to raise over $2,000 this year for Operation Smile.

Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that heals children's smiles, forever changing their lives.
