Blue Utopia pushes button. Wins Pollie Award.

SEATTLE - July 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Blue Utopia, a leading provider of technology services to Democratic and Progressive campaigns and organizations was awarded a 2013 Pollie Award.

Blue Utopia won the bronze for best state/statewide website for the initiative No On 1185, a Washington State campaign to reject an initiative, which would have severely limited the legislature’s ability to raise taxes.  

“We’re very honored,” said Trace Anderson, CEO of Blue Utopia.  “The Pollie Awards are, after all, the premiere award in the political space.  What’s unique about our Pollie though is that the site that won was built with our click-n-publish website system.  The other campaigns in this award category spent tens of thousands of dollars each and, in some cases, many tens.  Our client spent 2K for a full-service published website.”

“For large budget campaigns, throwing several or even tens of thousands at an online presence is not significant,” says Anderson.  “We focus mostly on the state and local space and every dollar is critical for them.  Our clients need powerful tools and a professional online presence but they need it affordable.”
