The AFWA Mesa East Valley Chapter and IMA AZ Valley of the Sun Chapter will host the 7th Annual Empowering Today's Accountant Seminar on Friday August 23rd.
 
GILBERT, Ariz. - July 20, 2013 - PRLog -- The 7th Annual Empowering Today’s Accountant Seminar will be presented by the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance Mesa East Valley Chapter and the Institute of Management Accountants AZ Valley of the Sun Chapter on Friday, August 23, 2013. This seminar will offer local accounting and financial professionals an opportunity to network and earn eight hours of Continuing Professional Education at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel in Phoenix. Sessions include a variety of technical and professional topics. The program begins with Goal Setting presented by Paul Brunoforte, a Distinguished Toastmaster, a timely session on Healthcare Reform presented by JW Wight with Digital Benefits Advisors and Making Life Count presented by Jane M Powers with Empowering By Design. The afternoon offers two tracks for attendees to choose sessions that fit their needs including Accounting Updates, American Taxpayer Relief Act, Auditing, Social Security, Personal Marketing & LinkedIn and Interview Preparation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network during breaks and lunch. The registration deadline is August 15th.
