Icard Merrill Attorney Robert K. Lincoln Makes Guest Appearance On “Law and Sarasota” Series

SARASOTA, Fla. - July 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Robert K. Lincoln, a member of Sarasota law firm Icard, Merrill, Cullis, Timm, Furen & Ginsburg, P.A., recently made a guest appearance on the “Law and Sarasota” video series produced by the Sarasota County Bar Association. Mr. Lincoln, a land-use attorney, joined host Adam Tebrugge to discuss code enforcement issues. Topics discussed during the 30-minute interview included different types of code violations, the appellate process and compliance issues.

The award-winning “Law and Sarasota” video series was produced in 2012 in an effort to address questions that the public may have about different aspects of the legal process. The five-part series airs on Sarasota County’s “The Education Channel” and is comprised of such topics as jury duty, criminal defense, the state attorney’s office and juvenile court.  A recent grant from the Voluntary Bar Association will allow the series to be placed into DVD format with Spanish subtitles included.

Mr. Lincoln has been a member of Icard Merrill since 2004. He represents public and private clients in all aspects of the land development process, with a focus on complex land use, zoning approvals and litigation. With an extensive academic and professional background in planning, zoning and growth management, he has written, published and lectured extensively on land use topics. Mr. Lincoln has been a resident of Sarasota since 1977 and was recently appointed to the New College Foundation Board of Directors.
