BELIZE CITY, Belize - July 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Global Pharmacy Canada, Inc.

In June 2013, the website Safemedicines.org an organization that “looks to protect the safety of your prescription drugs” published an article and  made negative references to Global Pharmacy Canada. This article is an unfair misrepresentation of Global Pharmacy Canada.

The article begins by describing “Global Pharmacy Canada, a fake Internet pharmacy“. Global Pharmacy Canada is not a “fake internet pharmacy” we are very clear on how our business operates and where our customers prescriptions are being filled. Since 2004 we have filled prescriptions for over 150,000 American Seniors, Self Employed and people with little or no insurance. Our global network of licensed pharmacies located in India, Singapore and Europe  provides the same high-quality generic medications that you can purchase in the United States but at a fraction of the cost. Our business practice is listed on our home page, about us, terms and conditions, Questions and Answers and on all printable order forms. Our customers are exposed to this information multiple times before they decide to have our company process their script. We have a Customer Recommended status on Bizrate, which polls our current and previous customers. We use this feedback to improve our customer experience and over all business.  We feel that a FAKE business could not receive high recommendations from thousands of verified customers.

The article further suggests that Global Pharmacy Canada “was marketing drugs to Canadians”. In the beginning our company was originally partnered with a pharmacy located in Canada. Over the years our business model has changed to ship medications directly to the customer from a regulated pharmacies close to where the medications are being manufactured. This change in our business model was never reflected in our name until recently. Global Pharmacy International has been created to take the place of Global Pharmacy Canada. This name change was put into place to continue assisting our global customer base without any confusion that we are a Canadian pharmacy.

They make reference to 2010 Health Canada investigation, we have previously released a press release that would have cleared up any misconceptions about our company. That Press Release can be found here

The article also points out two other posts by LegitScript and the Oregonian. Both of these articles have been addressed and responded to they can be found on previous press releases that have been made.

Global Pharmacy is in business to assist our global customer base with access to low cost worldwide pricing on medications. Many of our customers are on a limited incomes, finding room in their budget for medications sometimes is a difficult one. People should not have to make the choice about putting food on their table or purchase their needed medications. By using our services they do not have to make this choice.
