July 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Ginseng, the annual literary publication of the Garrett County Arts Council, has released its 2013 issue containing three poems from local author Rose Gordy. The three poems are "A Robin in Winter," "On The Very Verge" and "The Autumn Leavings of My Husband and My Dad" which range from the sentimental memories of life's journey to premonitions of seasonal changes.

Author and dream counselor Rose Gordy spent thirteen years of her early life as a nun effectively cut off from the world. In spite of the conditions within the Church, she managed to leave and make a life for herself including getting married and having three sons. Through her experiences in the convent as well as decades of teaching in the classroom, she has woven compelling stories and poems honoring the lives lost and changed forever by adversity.
