Queens Hyundai Dealer, Millennium Hyundai, Comments on Hyundai’s Technological Improvements

Following an article about Hyundai improving their tech game after what seemed like a slow start, Millennium Hyundai offers their comments on the recent technology strategy of Hyundai.
 
ELMONT, N.Y. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- On July 18, 2013, Millennium Hyundai commented on a Detroit News article by Karl Henkel, regarding the technological improvements that Hyundai has made, separating themselves from the competition and improving their name.

According to the Detroit News article (http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20130717/AUTO0104/307170036), while some companies are struggling to get their technology systems on the right track, Hyundai is pulling away from them with an improved infotainment and technology strategy. The article states that, “While spotty effectiveness of Ford Motor Co.’s MyFord Touch infotainment system has hurt that automaker’s quality rankings, Hyundai’s slow and steady approach to in-car tech systems is paying off at dealerships and in third party quality studies.” The article mentions that Hyundai’s quality, which is measured by JD Power and Associates, has improved by a total of 10 spots for the 2013 models.

According to the article, this improvement can be partially attributed to the Hyundai Blue Link telematics system which avoided negative impact that has hurt most other car companies. Barry Ratzlaff, Hyundai’s executive director of customer connect and service business development, stated in the article, “We always had in the back of (our) head that we’d learn for a year or so. “When we reached a point of critical mass, we would expand the offering.” The article mentions that although Hyundai was slow to roll out their technology systems, they also proved that slow and steady in fact does win the race.

Morgan Buonaiuto, Business Development Manager at Queens Hyundai (http://www.facebook.com/millenniumhyundai) dealer, Millennium Hyundai, offered her thoughts on the technology advancements made by Hyundai this past year. “As a Hyundai driver myself, I have a day-to-day experience with the technology in the 2013 models, and I must say I am not surprised Hyundai has improved by 10 spots on JD Power and Associates list, said Buonaiuto. “I can only expect Hyundai to keep on improving their technology, because that is the kind of company Hyundai is, always moving forward and looking towards the future.”
