ANN ARBOR, Mich. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- The season-long sports road trip is performed annually by a few fans in each of the popular American sports. Some fly from game to game while others prefer the freedom of the open road. Some see as many games as possible, while others choose to follow their favorite team. When it comes to the season-long Stadium Journey, there are no hard and fast rules other than being on the road for the length of the season.

The 30-team Major League Baseball road trip is the most common instance, as it is relatively easy to visit all MLB stadiums over the long six-month season. Hockey and basketball see far less touring as the winter months are not ideal for long drives and teams are only home 41 times, making a trip difficult. Then comes football, or more specifically, the NFL. With just 17 weeks in the schedule and 32 teams to be visited, a road trip that encompasses every stadium is no trivial task, particularly as games are limited to Thursday, Sunday, and Monday. Obviously, this feat is rarely accomplished.

That is why we at Stadium Journey are excited to announce that one of our top stadium travel experts, Regional Correspondent Sean MacDonald, will experience a home game for each of the 32 teams during the 2013 NFL season. Starting in Denver for the Thursday night season opener and winding his way to every part of this great country, Sean will spend 119 days on the road, driving from stadium to stadium. The full schedule is as follows (all times local):
