Canopy Cove Announces New Website for Eating Disorder Treatment

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Tallahassee, Florida - Canopy Cove Eating Disorder Treatment Center, one of the country’s leading providers of treatment and care for individuals suffering from eating disorders, proudly announces the launch of their newly redeveloped website on July 18, 2013.

The launch of the new website, www.canopycove.com, is devoted to helping those who struggle with eating disorders find the answers they need to take the next step toward recovery.

Eating disorders have little or nothing to do with food or weight, although they appear to.  Feelings of inadequacy, perfectionistic tendencies, obsessive thoughts of weight and exercise, anxiety, and depression are some of the devastating aspects of an eating disorder.  Much to people’s surprise, all eating disorders can bring about life-threatening consequences.  

According to the National Eating Disorders Association, in the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men suffer from a clinically significant eating disorder at some time in their life, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or an Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS).
