InventionHome Hosts 3rd Annual DRTV Product Summit: Seeking 24 “As Seen On TV” Inventions.

MONROEVILLE, Pa. - July 17, 2013 - PRLog -- MONROEVILLE, PA., July 16, 2013 - InventionHome announces that their popular “DRTV Product Summit” will return for a 3^rd consecutive year to the campus of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA on October 24, 2013.

This event offers selected inventors the opportunity to present and pitch their “As Seen on TV” inventions to six of the industry’s most influential infomercial/DRTV companies.

Top executives from six separate DRTV companies responsible for dozens of hit products including the WaxVac®, Stompeez™, Snuggie®, Pajama Jeans®, and AirCurler® will be on hand to meet inventors, listen to pitches and to discuss licensing deals. The goal of each company is to discover the next multi-million dollar, hit TV product.

Twenty four inventors will be selected to receive 10-minute private sessions with each company in attendance. Products will be selected based on the following criteria:

Ø       solves a real problem

Ø       highly demonstrable

Ø       appeals to the masses

Ø       should have finished samples/working prototype

In addition, hit TV products have a “wow factor”…a product feature that makes you say “Wow! I need to have that!”, because in some way it is going to make your life a little bit better or easier.
