Vistage Michigan Hosts “Experience Vistage” Event for Northern Michigan Chief Executives, Aug. 1

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. - July 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Vistage Michigan (www.vistagemichigan.com), part of the world’s leading Chief Executive organization, is hosting a special event for prospective members on Thursday, Aug. 1 at the Cambria Suites located at 255 Munson Ave. in Traverse City.

The event, designed for Chief Executives who lead companies in northern Michigan, takes place from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.  There is no cost to attend, but attendance is limited to chief executives, presidents and business owners.  A complimentary lunch will be provided.

At “Experience Vistage,” attendees will participate in a workshop focused on “Driving Results Through Authentic Leadership.”  Organizational results experts and Vistage Michigan chairs Erik Larson and Michelle Russell are the featured speakers, who will guide attendees to an understanding of:

*How authentic leadership drives sustainable results
*Practicing what you preach on life and work balance

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with some of the organization’s current members and leaders, and get an inside look at what it is like to be a member of this Chief Executive Group.

Larson is president and owner of bean fields Professional Services LLC in Petoskey, which helps high performing individuals and organizations maximize the results of everything they do so they can increase their mindfulness and positively impact their financial bottom-line.  His primary fields of expertise include strategic planning, organizational cultures and executive leadership.  This has led him to successfully direct strategic planning and leadership performance efforts for corporate and business clients in the banking, healthcare, manufacturing and retail industries, as well as art, community planning and environmental land preservation, and other non-profit entities.

Russell is the president of Russell Coaching & Consulting, a coaching, consulting and advisory service firm for small businesses in the Midwest.  Russell Coaching & Consulting offers clients a powerful combination of sound business thinking complemented by strong coaching and implementation skills, helping individuals and teams make change and achieve their goals.  The Frankfort resident has 30 years experience in corporate and consulting leadership roles with manufacturing and distribution companies ranging from $20 million to $150 billion.
