Local Artist Pako Pablos Featured In Art Show During Comic-con Convention

SAN DIEGO - July 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Pako Pablos, an internationally recognized contemporary mixed media portrait artist, will host a public showing of his latest works during the Comic-Con Convention in San Diego, CA. The event will take place at Stingaree, a premier club in the city’s Gaslamp District, on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 9:00pm PT until midnight.     Pablos’ exhibit will feature several new pieces created in honor of some of the most popular characters showcased at Comic-Con, as well as portraits featuring celebrity musicians, artists and performers as showcased in recent exhibitions and on his European promotional tour earlier this year.    "We are excited to host an incredible local up-and-coming artist whose work has captured the attention of many in the entertainment industry," said Michael McShane, Marketing and Entertainment Director at Stingaree. "His contemporary approach to portrait painting reflects a modern, edgy style that appeals very well to our audiences."    Most recently, Pablos’ sold portraits have been presented to well-known performers like Xzibit, American rappers Tyga, Waka Flocka Flame, E40 and Dricky Graham.
