at the Gower Chilli Festival and Cookoff this Saturday 20 July 2012 and hoping to sign people up for their new arts and crafts workshops.

Donna Isherwood from Horton, Gower has made a stunning yellow hat covered with Chillis for the occasion and she will be teaching people how to make their own summer hats in the heat wave.

Alex Martin, a trained herbalist from Kilay will be selling beautiful hand made soap, fizzy bath bombs, made at a recent soap workshop at the Gower wildflower cafe.

Gower Hen Parties organises workshops and parties for people who want to learn how to make their own; chocolate twizzles, cupcakes, driftwood hearts and garlands, hats and hair fascinators, flower displays,
soaps and fizzy bath bombs, up cycled clothes, hand made sewn items, paper mache presents and Wedding Crafts, bunting, candles and table decorations.

"Donna has made her own stunning yellow hat for the occasion, decorated in Chillies" says Patricia Hodge, of Gower Hen Parties.

"We are inviting people to come along and marvel at it and be so inspired they want to make a funky hat of their own and take part in one of our new hat makingworkshops by the sea".

Many other local crafters will be at the event too. And hundreds of people are expected to enjoy the day, eating amazing food in the sunshine before going swimming at the beach.
