FastMed Urgent Care To Open Third Location in Chandler, Arizona

CHANDLER, Ariz. - July 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Phoenix, Ariz. July 16, 2013 – On Saturday, July 20 FastMed Urgent Care will open its third location in Chandler at the former Blockbuster video store at the corner of West Ray Road and North Rural Road. FastMed will join Fry’s Food Store, Wells Fargo and Starbucks in serving the community of Chandler, providing access to urgent care services seven days a week.

FastMed will be open to the public and ready to treat patients during the open house on Saturday, but all Chandlerresidents are welcome to tour FastMed’s new, state of the art urgent care clinic, as well as meet and talk to FastMed medical providers and clinical staff.

As a special offer to the local community, FastMed will offer athletic sports physicals for all ages discounted to $15 (normally $35) until August 20. FastMed’s new location at 4959 West Ray Road is walking distance from: Corona Del Sol High School, Kyrene de las Brisas elementary and the Chandler Public Library and many local businesses in Chandler.

The clinic will have extended hours 365 days a year for walk-in treatment with services including:

·       Treatment of mild to moderate illness

·       Injury and orthopedics treatment

·       Medical procedures such as sutures / stitches, cyst removal, incision / drainage and splinting

·       Onsite digital X-rays for injuries

·       Phlebotomy services

·       Physicals for children and adults

·       Vaccinations and flu shots for children and adults (available upon request)

FastMed treats many non-emergency conditions, such as allergic reactions, bladder infections, sinus infections, Bronchitis, coughs or colds, sore throat and strep throat, Conjunctivitis (pink eye and eye infections), dehydration, ear infections, fevers or the flu, hives, insect bites, skin rashes, sun burn, urinary tract infections and much more.
