Save the Date! Voices for Children – CASA of Monterey County Announces Friends Luncheon Thursday, September 26, 2013

SALINAS, CA  (July 9, 2013)  Every year Voices for Children – CASA of Monterey County launches its annual fund drive with a powerful luncheon. More than just a fundraiser, this luncheon is an opportunity to learn about the program and hear directly from the youth who benefit from it.  The guest speaker for this year’s luncheon is Tom North, author of True North, The Shocking Truth about ‘Yours, Mine, and Ours.’  Also on the agenda is a youth presenter sharing his story. Both the youth and Tom will enlighten you about the world of child abuse while also making you feel the hopefulness that their stories inspire. A pre-event campaign is underway to meet a donor challenge that will result in a powerful matching gift program.
