Follow on Google News | Remington College “Cuts for Kids” Program Sends Students Back to School Looking Their BestBy: Remington College Each summer, Remington College cosmetology programs (http://remingtoncosmo.com/) In addition to helping students, Remington College also wants to help local schools. Throughout August, Remington College student salons will be collecting school supplies for local schools. Anyone who brings in a donation – pens, pencils, notebooks, etc. – will receive a complimentary haircut, manicure or pedicure. That means mom or dad can get a free salon service while their kids are getting their free haircuts. “Cuts for Kids is an important part of our mission as a non-profit college,” The Remington College Cosmetology Program takes a hands-on approach to teaching students the art of hair, skin and nail care. Cuts for Kids allows students, under the supervision of instructors, to have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting. The program is available at thirteen Remington College campuses: Baton Rouge, Memphis, Tampa, Houston (three locations), Cleveland, Mobile, Lafayette, Nashville, Dallas, Columbia (South Carolina) and Honolulu.
