Fastest Growing Pet Franchise in New York is branching out to Suffolk County, N.Y.

In Home Pet Services is a pet sitting and dog walking company based in Queens, NY - now with 9 locations, 8 of which are franchisee owned throughout Queens and Brooklyn in New York City, and in Nassau County on Long Island.  Each location is individually owned and run by a franchisee owner, but has tremendous support from the founder and President of the company, Robyn Elman.  IHPS franchisee's work together on different events, help each other with clients when needed and really care for each other's success.

IHPS's founder and President, Robyn Elman is a Suffolk native who grew up in Deer Park, N.Y. then moved to Huntington Station before settling at her Bellerose, NY location. “I am so happy to be branching back into Suffolk county to offer the same wonderful pet sitting, dog walking and in-home pet boarding services that our Nassau, Queens, Brooklyn and New York City clients already know," stated Elman.

Areas that IHPS is starting with in Suffolk will be the North Shore in the Huntington area, the West South Shore in Babylon area and the South Shore in the Bay Shore/Islip areas.

Within each new Suffolk location, there will be multiple areas covered by the franchisee.  For example the new IHPS of Huntington will cover the areas of: Huntingon, Dix Hills, Deer Park, etc. but can vary based on the franchisee’s specific location.

Owners of the franchises live in the town and area they serve, so they are already familiar and rooted in the community. Each new franchise owner will be certified in Pet CPR & First Aid just as every employee and current franchise owner of IHPS's locations are. Each new owner gets weeks of training, full support from the IHPS staff to get started and Elman is always available to help them when needed.  Franchise costs are reasonable, and owners work out of their home office and out in the community doing pet sitting and dog walking, so there is not the high cost of overhead of running a storefront as in typical franchises.  

New franchises within Suffolk County will also promote job growth as all of the current franchise owners have hired people to help them with their clients.  Robyn’s own location in Bellerose, employs 24 pet sitters, dog walkers, and an office assistant too.
