DENVER -  Just as the summer heat is getting too much to bear, designer Holli
Gibson brings light and airy children clothing to the forefront. This fresh season brings
inspirations from the island, where LamanBlu was originally born, and returns to the
classic white on white theme that makes hot Spring and Summer days a joy for the
adventurous child.

With bright and fun butterfly prints, flamingo pink and lime green fishtail hem skirts, and
smart shorts with lots of pockets, this season evokes Island Folk color schemes, where
brighter is better. Add the cool brightness of melon and your color story is complete.  
Stripes make their way into this grouping as well, in a multi color stripe for binding
and piping that ties all the colors together.  Knits and wovens play in this theme, with
the knits being the most eco-friendly ever – a blend of organic cotton and recycled
polyester.

This Spring and Summer collection also brings a fresh perspective to ‘Sunday’s best’
with Linen Love.  Both classic and updated airy dresses with lots of twirl.  Pure linen is
one of the best fabrics for a child’s sensitive skin and this season brings linen mixed
with smart cotton seersucker stripes.  Garden colors of Tea Rose, Baby’s Breath
White, Cornflower Blu and Spring Green paired with smart styling for brother make
this a perfect collection of special to every day occasion apparel, and best yet, it’s fully
machine washable.

LamanBlu is known for its silky soft knits and Spring/Summer 2014 is no exception.  
Modal knits this season are in cotton candy colors of cherry blossom, lilac and baby’s
breath and are mixed with floaty lace and floral heart appliqués.  Perfect for every day
