SALEM, Mass. - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Salem Jazz and Soul Festival to hold Volunteer Information Night on July 23

The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival will hold a Volunteer Information Night at the Hawthorne Hotel in

Salem from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23.

The public is welcome to attend to learn how to assist the festival, which will take place Aug. 17-18 at the Salem Willows.

The night will feature stories from current volunteers and board members, in which they will outline what brought them to the organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to producing free concert,  and donating to music education causes on the North Shore of Massachusetts.

Additionally, job descriptions will be outlined and attendees are welcome to sign up for positions onsite.

The seventh-annual Salem Jazz and Soul Festival will feature 12 bands, a kids’ tent, music-education tent, artisan fair all free, and a 21-plus beer pavilion
