Kids Wish Network and Chris Brown Team Up to make dream come true for Virginia Teen

July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- FAIRFAX, Va. – International children’s charity Kids Wish Network today praised Chris Brown and The Symphonic Love Foundation for helping make a lifelong dream come true for a Fairfax teenager. Seventeen-year-old Mohamed Elherazy, who suffers from severe physical disability, had the opportunity to meet Chris Brown at this month’s Summer Jam performance. Kids Wish Network is a Florida-based charitable organization dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children having experienced life-altering situations. "There are few things that are more satisfying than being able to put a smile on the face of a child struggling with a life-altering illness. With the generous support of partners like Chris Brown and The Symphonic Love Foundation, we are able to make a difference in the lives of tens of thousands of children every year," said Anna Lanzatella, Executive Director of the Kids Wish Network. "We will continue to work to provide opportunities to children in need through our wish granting programs."

When Mohamed was asked what he wanted for his wish, he responded "There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure. I am not afraid to fail, because I understand that life is a process of trials and tribulations. We are at our weakest when we forget to believe in ourselves, and our dreams…but I learned from Chris Brown that your dreams are never too big, and when you fall get right back up, and try again; my wish is to meet Chris Brown." After this profound statement from Mohamed, Kids Wish Network made granting his wish a top priority. For his wish, Kids Wish Network arranged an all expenses paid trip to Rutherford, New Jersey so Mohamed could meet Chris Brown during his performance at Summer Jam. During the meeting, Chris told Mohamed to follow his dreams no matter what obstacles he faces, and that is exactly what Mohamed intends to do.

Shortly after his visit with Chris, Mo graduated from high school. Chris tweeted congratulations to Mo "S/O to @

MoHerezy graduating High School today! Don’t let anything stand in the way of your dreams."

Earlier this week, Chris wished Mo a happy 18

th birthday "Happy Bday and every day @MoHerezy! Keep inspiring positivity brother".

"This was the first time in my life that I have seen my son happy, I felt like they had known each other forever" said Naglaa Eid, Mohamed’s mother.

Kids Wish Network would like to thank the following for making Mohamed’s dream become a reality: Chris Brown and The Symphonic Love Foundation, Renaissance Meadowlands Hotel, Top of the Rock Observation Deck, Heartland Brewery and Volare’s Italian Restaurant.
