Solar Inverters in India - For Cutting down your costs on electricity

One of the leading manufacturers of solar products SEECOL today announced the launch of solar inverters in India. As the people of this country witness power cuts for long duration has made the company to release the product in the market.

BENGALURU, India - July 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The CEO and president of company Mr. James Mathews speaking to the media told the main difference between normal inverter and solar inverter is that the former consumes electricity when there is power and then gives you back up while the latter uses natural energy from the sun and gives back up thereby reducing the electricity consumption.

The need for solar inverters in India is due to first and foremost problem of mounting power needs. We need to look for alternate power resources if we want to save the non renewable energy sources which are very depleting in a rapid way. Solar energy seems to be the perfect choice for solving this problem. There are a variety of solar products available and solar inverter is one of them.

He also gave information regarding the working principle of the product for people who wanted to get them implemented at home. Solar inverter mainly consists of four main components and they are solar panel, charge controller, battery and inverter. The power is generated by solar panel and it is consumed by battery through charge controller.

There are 3 different kinds of solar energy inverters. Each one of them serves the purpose for different functions but the similarity between all the three is each of them converts ac to dc.

The first of them is stand alone inverter and it is used in off grid solar arrays. In this system the solar panel generates direct current energy and it is stored in rechargeable batteries. When there is necessity of energy the direct current is sent from the battery to stand alone inverter and then it is converted into alternating current. This is utilized to power a home or any other electrical items. Smaller version of standalone inverters are used in a wide range of products including solar battery chargers for laptops, cell phones, water pumps and to even to charge a car battery.

The second type of solar energy inverter is grid tie inverter where the solar array is connected directly to local power grid. These are most commonly used in urban areas because it does not require a battery. In this solar panels generate direct current energy and this is sent to the inverter. It converts the dc into ac and sent to the local power grid. This requires solar unit wired to the grid via electricity meter which will ensure that you receive credit from the power company for energy produced.

The third type is dual inverter and also known as back up battery inverter used in a multifunction solar system. The solar panels generate dc and sends to the battery. The battery sends this dc energy to inverter and this is converted into electricity whenever required, also when the batteries are fully charged any excess direct current electricity generated is sent into the local power grid. This forms a combination of the other two types of inverters and forms useful of the three. This is more expensive than the other two forms because of inverters because of the combined benefits provided by it.

There are many towns and villages in India which are switching over to solar assisted power generation. The government India is also stressing the need to install solar panels on roof tops of buildings over 3000 square feet. Municipalities have also found out that use of PV panels is greatly reducing utility costs of the city. There are also large no of companies entering this sector due to the increasing demand. The maintenance cost of PV panels is also low which is making an excellent option to go for solar inverter in india (http://www.seecol.co.in/Solar-Inverters-In-India.php).
