1st Security Bank Capitol Hill Branch To Host Shred Event

SEATTLE - July 12, 2013 - PRLog -- (Mountlake Terrace WA) – The Capitol Hill branch of 1st Security Bank will host a   shredding and electronic waste recycling day Saturday, July 20, from 10 am to 2 pm.

The bank is encouraging people to help reduce identity theft crimes by recycling sensitive documents and/or electronic items no longer in use.

People are invited to bring up to 5 boxes or bags of paper for shredding and up to 5 of the following electronic items (per person) to be recycled free of charge: TVs, CPUs, computer monitors, laptops and cell phones. A list of acceptable items is available on the bank’s website, www.fsbwa.com.

Early arrival is recommended as shredding is on a first come, first served basis until the truck is full. Documents will be shredded on site, while you watch.  

The Capitol Hill branch is located at 614 Broadway East, next to Poppy Restaurant. Shredding will take place in the rear parking lot of the bank, which can be accessed from 10th Ave East.
