Art on the beach: Singita as an experimentation platform

FREGENE, Italy - July 12, 2013 - PRLog -- There is a contemporary circus on Fregene’s beach, where professional artists perform with the aim of giving magic and creating dreaming atmospheres to people watching them.
The Singita Nouveau Cirque (http://www.singita.it/eng/singitaworld_art.php) is not a traditonal one, because its resident artists do not perform in a tent but on the beach; in squares, streets and theatres.

This circus was born in 2003: all the artists (stilt walkers, fire jugglers, dancers, acrobats, living statues) perform in colorful costumes. Their art, smiles and happiness are the keys they use to enjoy people during the summer events organized by Singita Miracle Beach. Usually their shows start at the sunset, becoming more and more emotional during the night. Professional choreographers help them to prepare the performances. As in the best tradition of the French Nouveau Cirque, during their shows animals are not involved: their art is purely visual and emotional. All performances tell unique stories as in the best plays, and they are held to the sound of soothing melodies.
