ATLANTA - July 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Born and raised on the streets of Washington, D.C. Popp Culture didn’t always have an easy life growing up. Facing tragedy early on, the hip-hop star lost one brother to D.C.’s harsh legal system and another to deadly crossfire. Determined to rise above these tragedies, artist Popp Culture turned to the one thing that mattered to him most…MUSIC.  

Dominating the underground and battle rap circuit since age 15, Popp Culture has built a buzz that has awarded him the opportunity to work with some of today’s hottest producers including but limited to Rodney Jerkins (Brandy, Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez), Polow Da Don (Usher, Chris Brown), Dr. Dre, No I.D, M-16, Focus, Jazzi Pha and Stevie J.  Popp Culture has also had successful collaborations with hit R&B singer J. Holiday, Rappers 50 Cent and Mase and also singer Mishon from BET’s Lincoln Heights.
