LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - July 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The World Outreach Church for All Nations has announced that it will hold a music concert in its premises as part of its Summer 2013 Festive event. The event will feature several talents including Gospel Jazz Artist, Abraham on Sax, WOCFAN Worship Jazz Group, Daniel Jones, Navaeh Soul, Myk-O, Victorious, Tosinger, TimiAwonaike, Spanish pop, and others.

According to WOCFAN, the roster of talents who will perform during the event will not limit itself to praise and worship bands but will include artists from various other genres. Aside from Gospel music, the roster will also include bands and artists that perform Jazz, salsa and hip-hop. The organizers want to impact the general community through music and to promote a sense of reconciliation to Christ, which makes it important that a wide range of musical genres are played in the event itself.

The event will take place on July 20th starting 5:30 pm. However, participants can enter the premises as early as 5:00 pm. Admission is free. Participants of the evening concert will be able to avail of free hotdogs and drinks.

The concert is only one facet of the whole event. At 1:00 pm, the WOCFAN complex will feed approximately 220 families within the community of Lawrenceville. Food will be delivered by the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the feeding itself will take place from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on the 20th of July. A total of 10,544 lbs. of food will be delivered and distributed to families during the event.

Another activity that will be undertaken during the Summer 2013 Festive event is the Backpack Program, which aims to give away free backpacks to children in preparation for the start of classes after the summer break. The Backpack Program will also include a free health check for children, and will be held simultaneous with the distribution of food from the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Children who receive the backpacks will also receive packets of food and school supplies inside the bags.

Another component of the event is the whole-day Children’s Activities. Children who attend the event with their families will be entertained by WOCFAN Children’s Ministry. There will be entertainment for the children, and plenty of games to keep them occupied all day long.

Last but not the least, there will also be a raffle for those that will participate in this free annual event. The lucky winners will be able to bring home tickets for a Caribbean Cruise vacation. There will also be many other prizes to be given away to lucky individuals.

Formed in 1994 by Pastors Bank and Sharon Akinmola, the World Outreach Church For All Nations believes in empowering and strengthening families in order to achieve a stronger community. The vision of the church is to build “Strong Families to Transform the Nations by Exercising Kingdom Dominion Everywhere!” The WOCFAN philosophy is family-centric, with a view that when a family is whole, then the Church as a whole will also become stronger.
