Ohio Valley NTIS Hosts Two Day Regional Baseball Camp

July 10, 2013 - PRLog -- The Ohio Valley National Team Identification Series (NTIS) will be holding a two day baseball training camp on July 16th and 17th, 2013 at the Don Edwards Facility in Newark, Ohio.  The baseball camp will include complete skill evaluations with running, fielding and fundamentals.  Day 2 will include simulated games for all players to show their skill in "Live Games".  This camp will also be a try out for the Ohio Valley Team that will play at the USA Baseball Championships.

The baseball camp begins Tuesday July 16th and both days run from 8 am to 4 PM. The cost of the camp is $250 per participant.

Age divisions invited to participate:
• 2013 17U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 1996, for the 2014 18U NT
• 2013 16U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 1997, for the 2014 17U NTDP
• 2013 14U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 1999, for the 2014 15U NT
• 2013 11U NTIS: born on or after Jan. 1, 2002, for the 2014 12U NT

Players should bring the following gear to participate:
* White or Grey Pants
* Belt & Socks
* Baseball Spikes
* Glove
* Batting Helmet
* Baseball Bat
* Protective Cup
* Catchers should bring their own catching gear

Check in for the baseball camp is at 8am for registration on Tuesday the 16th at the complex.

Selected players from this camp will be called within 7 days from the conclusion of this event and offered a spot on Team Ohio Valley for the USA Baseball Regional Championships in Cary, NC on Sept. 6-8th . All players chosen to advance to North Carolina will be charged a $200 Uniform fee as part of Team Ohio Valley.
