New Clothing Company Partners with National Breast Cancer Foundation

A new company from Salt Lake City, The Heart of Fashion is launching a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation starting August 2013 including hosting a fundraising concert on August 2nd in Sugarhouse.
 
SALT LAKE CITY - July 10, 2013 - PRLog -- A new company from Salt Lake City is launching a partnership with the National Breast Cancer Foundation starting August 1st, 2013. The partnership will include a 3 month long fundraising campaign. The Heart of Fashion is hosting a fundraising concert on August 2nd, 2013 to launch the partnership. The concert will be held at The Sugar Space in Sugarhouse and will feature 4 bands, including Carson Allen (formerly in Escape the Fate), Ashtree, Bryan Frates and Merchant Royal. All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Along with the fundraiser concert, The Heart of Fashion is also raising funds for research by donating 25% of every sale. Customers get to choose where their donation goes, including organizations such as NBCF and METAvivor. The Heart of Fashion strives to raise awareness for breast cancer and provide support to those suffering.

"I've been touched by so many stories of women that are effected by breast cancer and I was inspired to not only show my support, but to also help them find a cure. I know that if the community works together, we truly can make a difference," said Brittney Derho, regarding her inspiration to start the company.

The Heart of Fashion was started in June 2013 by Brittney Derho out of Salt Lake City, Utah. The company focuses on raising breast cancer awareness and money for research.
