The Jim Allen Group Coldwell Banker HPW Supports the Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest NC

RALEIGH, N.C. - July 9, 2013 - PRLog -- The Jim Allen Group Coldwell Banker HPW continues their commitment to community outreach with the Charitable Giving Project. This program which is the brainchild of Jim Allen, President of The Jim Allen Group, provides a win-win opportunity for his team and a worthy cause. A financial donation is given to the charity of choice based on the success of their business. For every transaction with The Jim Allen Group, they increase their donation. In 2012, a new charity was selected every quarter with a resulting total contribution of over $15,000. For 2013, the group decided to select The Boys and Girls Club of Wake Forest as their year-long beneficiary. For the first half of 2013, the total contribution to B&GC of Wake Forest was $7,500.00. Stefanie Bell, VP Business Development for The Jim Allen Group presented Jessica Bullock, Club Director of B&GC of Wake Forest with a check that will benefit the many programs available to local children and their families, as well as make improvements to the facility.

The Boys & Girls Club of Wake Forest provides a safe and enriching environment for local youth to learn, grow and to reach their full potential. B&GC offers after school programs, summer camps and opportunities for kids to participate in a wide variety of activities and sporting events. Open year-round so that parents can be assured that their children are safe in a positive atmosphere. In addition to the support this organization provides the community, the cost for services are a fraction of what other facilities charge and tuition assistance is available. Serving over 200 kids daily, this organization has been serving the Wake Forest community since. Some of the great activities offered include street hockey, quilting, “Think Big” mentoring program, basketball academy and track.

Knowing that their contribution will assist local families and young children is rewarding to the agents and staff of The Jim Allen Group. “Having the ability to make a difference to others and to be able to do this on a daily basis is extremely gratifying” states Jim Allen. “We look forward to continuing our efforts throughout the year with The Boys and Girls Club of Wake Forest.”  

The Jim Allen Group is the title sponsor to the B&CG largest fundraiser, “Rocktoberfest” which will take place on Saturday October 5^th. This event held at the Wake Forest club location and is a family-friendly event with a live concert stage, fun activity booths, food, prizes and a great way to share community.
