Scrum Alliance Announces the Release of “The State of Scrum: Benchmarks and Guidelines”

INDIANAPOLIS - July 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Indianapolis, IN — Scrum Alliance, a global professional society representing those interested in Scrum, announces the release of, “The State of Scrum: Benchmarks and Guidelines” report. This industry report is based on input from almost 500 business professionals in over 70 countries. The report was developed in conjunction with Projects@Work.com and ProjectManagement.com.

Key findings from the report include the observation that Scrum is growing rapidly, not only in software development, but in industries far beyond. In addition, the responses indicate that Scrum is positioned to help businesses tailor their efforts for the “Age of the Customer.”  The report reveals that the leading reason organizations are using Scrum is to deliver business value to their customers.
