LabelsPlus Show Support for Childrens Charity Kidsafe

HIGH PEAK, U.K. - July 4, 2013 - PRLog -- LabelsPlus, a leading UK label supplier, continues to provide much needed financial support to Stockport based children’s charity Kidsafe.

The charity, which operates out of Stockport works hard to ensure that children throughout the UK and Eire are safe from abuse, and a host of other dangers, without destroying the sense of adventure that all children should enjoy. They achieve this by making their safety lessons fun.

Despite the best efforts of parents, teachers and carers, hundreds of UK children are killed every year and even more are injured in accidents that could have been avoided.

Established in 1996, Kidsafe helps children, their parents and teachers to understand the dangers that are present, and teach them how to remain safe, whilst at play. It is a unique approach, which helps to deliver their message in an enjoyable but informative way.

A range of safety activities have been devised with the help of educationalists throughout the UK. These fantastic safety activities they provide cover topics which include:

• Stranger Danger
• Vandalism and crime prevention
• Racism and bullying
• Drugs
• Road safety
• Green Cross Code

The ultimate aim of the Kidsafe charity is to provide a range of safety books, leaflets, posters and games to primary schools throughout the country; and do so for free. These safety packs have been professionally designed to capture children’s imaginations whilst conveying important safety guidelines to them.

But in order to provide these services, they require the continued support of patrons and local businesses.
