It all started when his parents bought a piano when he was just 5 years old. Spending most of his time on the lake shores of Eureka, SD, Jarett had many musical influences ranging from George Jones and Kenny Rogers to STYX and Guns 'n' Roses. With the resergence of country music, Jarett found his mark and has been playing and writing ever since. For over 25 years Jarett has been polishing his talents as a musician. He has played in 6 orchestras, 5 symphonies, and performed for President Clinton on his 2nd inauguration celebration. J.D. has played from Anaheim, CA, to Washington, DC, stopping at some of the largest clubs in the country, including the Grizzly Rose in Denver, Billy Bob's in Fort Worth, and the Eight Second Saloon in Indiana. Since moving to Nashville, TN, in 2005, JD has played the famed Bluebird Lounge, with country legend Mel McDaniel in 2008, the CMA music festival with Ray Scott in 2009, and on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry with Andy Griggs in 2013.
