Alan Wagner, MD FACS elected President of The Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons

HAMPTON, Va. - July 3, 2013 - PRLog -- The Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons reinstalled Alan Wagner, MD, FACS as President for 2013-2014. This is his second consecutive term serving as President.  Dr. Wagner is the founder of Wagner Macula & Retina Center located throughout eastern Virginia and established in 1987. He is also the Secretary of State Affairs for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, representing Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.  
Dr. Wagner is an Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, active in the Medical Society of Virginia Board, and a consultant to the Stralitz Institute. He has a long history of public service fulfilling Governor appointments to various commissions and boards ranging from aviation, aerospace, technology and healthcare.
