Follow on Google News | Zonta Club of Douglas County Installs New Officers; Group awards $7750 in scholarships, grantsThe Zonta Club of Douglas County recently installed new officers for the 2013-14 term, awarded a $2,000 scholarship to a high school senior and presented grants to six nonprofit groups.

Gov. for District 12, installed the following members as club officers: Rhonda Bolich-Lampo of Highlands Ranch as president; Tracy Quintana of Parker as Treasurer; Sherron Fergason of Castle Rock as Secretary; and Lynn Inmon of Castle Rock and Carol Mangold of Parker as Directors. Joanie Lyons, a recent graduate of Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, received a $2,000 scholarship from Zonta. She plans to attend Louisiana State University this fall. The Zonta Club of Douglas County also presented a total of $5,750 to the following nonprofit organizations: “We have a strong Zonta Club that celebrated its 10th anniversary this year,” says Rhonda Bolich-Lampo, president. “We’re looking forward to a great year working together to help others in our community and beyond.” About Zonta Founded in 2003, Zonta Club of Douglas County is part of Zonta International, a global organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide. The group meets the first Monday of every month at La Dolce Vita Restaurant in Castle Pines, alternating between lunch and dinner meetings.
