Clifford the Giraffe Celebrates His Seventh Birthday on July 6

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. - July 2, 2013 - PRLog -- (Manorville, NY) – On Saturday, July 6, the Long Island Game Farm (http://www.longislandgamefarm.com/) will celebrate Clifford the Giraffe’s seventh birthday. Starting at noon, visitors are invited to feed 17-foot-tall Clifford his birthday “cake” and sing him “Happy Birthday.”  
Clifford likes to spend his summers at the park and is one of the more popular animals at the Game Farm.

Giraffes can live up to 25 years old and will grow to weigh approximately one ton. The natural habitats are the woodlands south of the Sahara Desert and the African Savannah. They are also the tallest living land mammals in the world, at approximately 19 feet.

“We want to give the general public a chance to wish Clifford a happy birthday,” says Melinda Novak, Vice President/Co-Owner, Long Island Game Farm. “It is a fun way to get everyone to come out to the Game Farm for a birthday celebration.”

The Long Island Game Farm is located at Exit 70 off of the Long Island Expressway. It has been operating for more than 40 years and features a wide range of animals including monkeys, llamas, zebras and many more.
