8 Sided Films Kickstarts Development on Man and Machine

LOS ANGELES - July 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Today, 8 Sided Films announces the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to drive development on upcoming science-fiction dramatic feature Man and Machine, starring Tyler Seiple.  Seiple, who is also producing the film, explains that “as a group of passionate and story-driven filmmakers, we’re excited that Kickstarter provides a community dedicated to supporting excellent work through pooled resources. Machine is the story of computer science professor Garth Stephenson, who will sacrifice the relationships and routines holding his unremarkable life together for an experiment in artificial intelligence that he believes will revolutionize the field.  “Today’s brand of science-fiction likes taking it for granted that amazing things are possible and inevitable”, according to Stead, “but there is a price to be paid when one person takes on the responsibility of making an amazing thing not only possible, but inevitable – and we believe that’s a story worth telling.”  To join the Kickstarter campaign for Man and Machine and support the film, visit http://kickstarter.com/manmachinemovie between now and July 31, 2013.  Included in the “perks” available to donors is the opportunity for audiences to commission Seiple in the performance of monologues of their own choosing, to be published online as part of Machine’s ongoing social media campaign.
