LOS ANGELES - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Los Angeles, CA - Adam's Attic, the alternative, pop/rock band, releases their first acoustic album, Off the Wire.  The nine song release is set for July.  Originally hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, the band now resides in Orange County, California.

Off the Wire awakens a new beginning for the southern California-based band.  Releasing an acoustic album is exciting for Adam's Attic not only because it is something they have never done but also because it highlights the songwriting and melodies of their craft.  It has been two years since the band released Where Is Love (April 2011).  Not only has the music changed dramatically in the past two years, but the four-piece has transformed also.

When the band met Thomas Barsoe in late 2011, a metamorphosis began with collaboration in the songwriting and production of the Off the Wire and the sequential album.  Barsoe, a Danish soul singer/songwriter, is most notably known for hitting the top of the 2005 music charts in Japan, the world's second largest music market.  Currently, the Dane has set up shop in San Juan Capistrano, California, as the founder of the OC Hit Factory, where the Henry brothers of Adam's Attic had the fortuitous opportunity to meet him.

Unveiling the sonic transformation acoustically without the driving guitars and drums, Adam's Attic embraces their vulnerability and resiliency to change.  They have been writing fast and furiously to follow up Off the Wire with a full band album by the beginning of 2014.

The album sequence is as follows:

"With You (acoustic)"

"Waiting (acoustic)"

"Get Back Up Again (acoustic)"

"Cold December (acoustic)"

"Lost and Found (acoustic)"

"Not Enough (acoustic)"

"A Night without Armor (acoustic)"

"She Says (acoustic)"

"Burn (acoustic)"

Adam's Attic is comprised of Joe Henry (singer/songwriter), Derek Henry (bass guitarist/backing vocalist), Scott Boaz (drummer), and Frank DeSalvo (guitarist).  Off the Wire was co-produced by Adam's Attic and Thomas Barsoe of OC Hit Factory.  Instrument tracking was engineered by Mike Troolines at Sound Asylum in Santa Ana, California.  Vocals were recorded at OC Hit Factory in San Juan Capistrano, California.  Mastering was completed by Bruce Barielle in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Tammy Battalio of Velvet Curtain Graphics designed the album cover.  Leigh Anne Langman was the album’s official photographer.  Stephanie Escalante provided photo editing.

Off the Wire will be available on iTunes globally and available in retail outlets throughout North America.  The album is available for purchase on CD Baby at: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/adamsattic5
