Starcast of ‘Ghanchakkar’ visits Cinépolis Mumbai

GURGAON, India - July 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Mumbai, July 1, 2013: Cinépolis, India’s first international movie exhibitor and Mumbai’s first international multiplex, lived up to their promise of getting the movie stars close to their fans as Superstar Vidya Balan of the upcoming comedy thriller film  Ghanchakkar, visited  Cinépolis .

Thanking Cinépolis on the occasion Vidya Balan added, “We are glad to see such an overwhelming response from the Mumbaikar’s. We welcome Cinépolis to Mumbai and for giving us international flavours of movie watching.  We hope our movie does well at the box office all around the globe.”

Ghanchakkar is an upcoming Bollywood comedy thriller film directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur from UTV Motion Pictures. The film features Emraan Hashmi opposite Vidya Balan in the lead.

When Sanju (Emraan Hashmi), a suave, master safe cracker wants to retire from a career in crime, he decides to team up with two dangerous criminals to commit one last heist: a bank robbery that will ensure that he never has to worry about money again. The robbery is successful and everything goes according to plan. Sanju is given the task of hiding the money till things cool down and the booty can be split. Three months later, the associates return to collect their share of the loot, but Sanju refuses to even recognize them. They realize he got into an accident and is suffering from amnesia. The duo decide to stay with Sanju and his wife Neetu (Vidya Balan) until Sanju remembers where he hid the money. What unfolds is for all to see.

The extremely talented and beautiful Vidya Balan met and greeted the audience and patrons. She asked her fans a few questions in the theatre and the winners got movie voucher’s for Ghanchakkar on behalf of Cinépolis.
